Description

This intermediate level position ensures compliance with WM policies and procedures for the Source to Pay (S2P) process. It serves as a liaison between the business, the S2P team, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchase orders and resolution of all S2P activities. The role also includes mentoring and training responsibilities and provides exposure to the entire end‑to‑end S2P process.

The position primarily works in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

• Review and process requisitions promptly in line with procurement policies.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure proper payment methods and invoicing channels.
• Review and process purchase order change requests.
• Drive use of corporate procurement agreements, preferred suppliers, and buying channels.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, suppliers, and the business to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Follow up with suppliers to track long delivery dates.
• Assist suppliers with the onboarding process.
• Prepare and review monthly purchase order and invoice reports.
• Provide training and mentoring to the team and business partners.
• Determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Evaluate processes for continuous improvement.
• Facilitate compliance with Source to Pay policies and procedures.

Requirements

Travel by air or access to federal property may require a REAL ID or an acceptable TSA‑approved alternative; candidates must be willing to obtain the necessary identification.

• Bachelor’s degree (or High School Diploma/GED with four years relevant experience).
• Minimum four years of relevant work experience.
• At least three years of experience in procurement or accounts payable.
