Performs self-directed reactive and planned maintenance which includes but is not limited to: equipment and components in operation to determine the root cause of the problem; dismantling components to gain access to and remove defective parts; examines parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditions and repairs machine tools. Performs simple welding tasks. Orders supplies and repair items as necessary.
Maintains the grounds and building exterior, by performing any of the following technical disciplines; routine electrical, mechanical, and basic HVAC repairs.
Push/Pull on bolts, equipment, etc. without strain
Provides assistance to production technicians and leadership to small teams.
Participates in continuous improvement activities.

Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
Design ability required to lay out, wire, build, and troubleshoot electrical panels and/or other machinery according to NFPA/NEC standards.
Must possess strong communication skills & write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to move up to 50 pounds
Possess an unrestricted driver’s license
Must have strong internal and external customer service skills and be a team player
CNC maintenance experience/background preferred
Must have a basic knowledge of the use and care of hand and power tools
Bending, twisting, or otherwise awkward positions necessary to fix equipment
Must be able to troubleshoot industrial electrical issues with or without drawings or schematics
Minimum High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). Associates degree with a Technical focus preferred, but not required.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Operate a computer or other keyboard instrument
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute ratio and percent and interpret bar graphs
Exposure to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
Experience with analog electronics, PLC ladder diagrams, and programming
Must be able perform basic failure analysis and have ability to analyze/solve problems and deal in an environment where only limited standardization exists
1-3 years related experience in industrial maintenance is required, with a proficiency in industrial electrical troubleshooting.
Must possess an understanding of electronic and mechanical components to troubleshoot and repair
Must be self-motivated, able to prioritize work, and be able to multi-task
