What you would be doing

Supervise a team of approximately 30 employees.
Ensure skill development among workers to increase flexibility.
Manage human resources appropriately, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, compensation, disciplinary records, and vacation planning.
Work closely with other departments and services as needed.
Deliver clear and effective communications as needed and foster an open and inclusive environment. Coach and motivate team leaders and employees, promoting a participative environment and change management.
Identify and recommend equipment and facility improvements.
Identify gaps in the production line, propose improvements, and oversee their implementation.
Oversee the daily planning of activities in the emergency lighting manufacturing sector, ensuring alignment between customer needs and production capacity.

Bilingual in French and English. English is required to communicate with clients outside of Quebec.
2 years of supervisory experience (managing 20 to 30 people).
Comfortable using computer software (Word, Excel, integrated systems such as AS400 or SAP).
Knowledge of electricity or electronics is an asset.
