Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, conducting, managing, and overseeing valuation projects and industry research; managing firm risk on proposals; supervising, training, and mentoring senior associates, associates, and interns; assessing staff performance for engagement and year‑end reviews; working closely with audit teams, regulators, partners, and practice staff; and delivering presentations and seminars.
To support sustained growth, Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Manager who can work with hybrid flexibility or remotely. In this role, you will lead engagement execution, delegate tasks, review junior staff work, and collaborate with practice leaders on strategic and business‑development initiatives.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field, and be progressing toward a valuation credential such as CFA, ABV, or ASA. Minimum requirements include five years of progressive public‑accounting or consulting experience with at least four years focused on valuations, deep knowledge of ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 718, ASC 815, and relevant tax codes, strong financial‑modeling and analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in US GAAP and/or IFRS and experience managing multiple engagements and competing priorities within a dynamic, distributed team environment.
