The Senior Project Manager will act as the Owner’s Representative for third‑party development projects in Texas, overseeing end‑to‑end delivery of data‑center builds and upgrades. This role ensures alignment with client expectations, controls cost, schedule, quality and document control, and provides executive‑level reporting on project performance.
- Interface with the client to ensure critical infrastructure integrity.
- Oversee ground‑up, brownfield, and fit‑out data‑center builds, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget compliance.
- Act as primary onsite Owner’s Representative, aligning field execution with client expectations.
- Coordinate design, construction, commissioning, controls, networking, and security disciplines for seamless integration.
- Manage engineering firms and general contractors through all project phases from planning to turnover.
- Monitor change orders, resolve issues, and mitigate financial risk.
- Prepare executive‑level updates on schedule, risks, and constraints for internal and client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with commissioning lead on testing and system performance verification.
- Provide constructability feedback on electrical and mechanical designs.
- Drive utility engagement and infrastructure upgrades.
- Report weekly status to leadership.
- Coach and mentor direct reports.
- Lead data‑center projects from due diligence through construction.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and bring at least seven years of project‑management experience in mission‑critical construction, preferably within data‑centers. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and risk‑management skills, proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, CAD/Visio, Procore and related tools, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 7+ years of project‑management experience.
- Mission‑critical construction background; data‑center experience preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, CAD/Visio, BlueBeam, and Procore.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to project sites.
