The Vice President of Human Resources for the Transport Segment is a strategic leader who shapes and executes the people strategy to support business growth, operational excellence, and innovation. This role partners closely with the Transport Leadership Team and the enterprise HR Leadership Team to build a high‑performing, engaged workforce across the global organization.
In the strategic‑leadership capacity, the VP‑HR serves as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, workforce planning, culture, and engagement, while providing candid feedback to the Segment President. They translate business objectives into a forward‑looking HR roadmap and lead change‑management initiatives linked to transformation, automation, and evolving workforce needs.
The role assesses organizational effectiveness, guides structural changes aligned with business strategy, and oversees talent‑acquisition strategies for advanced manufacturing, skilled technical labor, and leadership positions. It also drives leadership development, succession planning, and performance‑management programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, accountability, and inclusion.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or technology‑driven organizations. Preferred credentials are a master’s degree or MBA, SHRM‑SCP or SPHR certification, and a proven record of scaling HR functions during growth.
