Indirect Procurement Manager

Description

• Develop and maintain category plans for all Indirect expenditure
• Compile and maintain a comprehensive spend diagnostic for Metricon Indirect expenditure
• Build robust, mutually respectful relationships with all key stakeholders across various areas of the business.
• Deliver cost reductions and total cost of ownership value outcomes to Metricon; and
• Develop a category review program to review and analyse existing categories and contracts on a cyclical basis
• Assess demand management opportunities for reduction in Indirect expenditure
• Develop and implement process and procedures that enable effective management of Indirect expenditure and ensure best practice procurement is being maintained at all times

Requirements

• Experience in construction, property, or manufacturing industries
• Proven negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business units.
• Strong experience managing indirect procurement categories (corporate services, IT, fleet, professional services, marketing, facilities) in a large multi-site organisation
• Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
• Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities; and
• MUST HAVE A Minimum 5 years experience in a procurement or category management. Ideally in Indirect
