The Project Manager will oversee the development and execution of project proposals and bids, as well as manage project plans, budgets, and reporting throughout the entire project life cycle. This role demands a strong understanding of technical specifications and industry standards relevant to the construction sector. - Modify and monitor any changes in project scope, clearly prepare and define the scope of projects.
- Modify and adjust project schedules to reflect changes in project scope. Steward the change management process on all assigned projects.
- Provide leadership to ensure that employees adhere to site and company health and safety standards.
- Identify, develop, and assist implementation of work processes and procedures.
- Develop and participate in post project completion reviews/lessons learned.
- Participate in staff training programs.
- Review and interpret contract documents and construction drawings.
- Develop detailed project plans and operating budgets for the project teams.
- Monitor personnel loading to projects with Superintendents.
- Develop and manage project schedules and review project progress.
- Requisition and schedule materials, tools, and equipment for projects.
- Teambuilding - resolve conflicts, project success and confidence, listen attentively, observe, coach, mentor and advise project supervisors/team members, lead by example, seek participation.
- Promote and practice company values in nurturing a safe, creative, innovative, and enjoyable work environment.
- Monitor and review project budgets/plans on a weekly, monthly basis and prepare reports for project management.
- Attend toolbox talks, weekly safety meetings, conduct field visits, safe work observations, and participate in HSE inspection programs.
- Keep open communication channels among all project stakeholders.
- Ensure all products meet or exceed the quality standards as specified in the client’s specifications and the company’s Quality Management System.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Engineering or Engineering Technology, along with a minimum of five years of progressive management experience, preferably within a construction environment. Experience in a heavy industrial setting is considered an asset. A strong ability to read and interpret mechanical specifications and tender documents is essential. The candidate should be proficient in using computers and software, including project management tools, the Microsoft Office Suite, and Safety Management Systems. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, along with in-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. The role also demands excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, as well as the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
RothLochston is seeking a Project Manager to support upcoming projects. This position will be based in Paradise, NL, with occasional travel to project sites as required.
