

SGS provides inspection, verification, testing, and certification services across various industries.
Responsible for the implementation of primary goals, operating plans, policies, and short and long range objectives for the business unit.
Provides guidance and/or leadership to others, including indirect reports, peers, or managers. Has hiring and terminating responsibilities. Supervises others. Number of employees directly reporting – Supervisory; 1‑5 Non‑Supervisory.
A 4‑year degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Candidates must have at least seven years of operations or management experience and three years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of LIMS, strong problem‑prevention and solving skills, and effective written and verbal communication across disciplines are also required.
