The General Manager will lead the strategic and operational management of a commercial real estate portfolio, overseeing day‑to‑day activities such as maintenance, security, and tenant services. This role ensures optimal financial performance, maintains positive tenant relationships, and implements effective property management strategies.
Key duties include serving as the primary point of contact for tenants, managing lease agreements and negotiations, and collaborating with leasing teams to attract and retain high‑quality occupants. The manager will develop and monitor property budgets, track rent collections, and prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders.
On‑site presence is essential for conducting inspections, addressing immediate concerns, and building relationships with tenants and staff. The role requires flexibility to handle urgent matters outside regular hours, occasional travel to properties or industry events, and the ability to remain composed under stressful situations such as emergencies or tenant disputes.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field, and possess in‑depth knowledge of commercial real estate, leasing processes, and market trends. Strong financial acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency with property management and accounting software are also required.
