  • Collaboration and Project Implementation: Liaise with Aggreko sales, technicians, and management to provide technical solutions, and lead project implementation in early mobilisations or first-of-a-kind projects, with emphasis on design, commissioning, and knowledge transfer.
  • Promote Green Solutions: Lead site and project delivery of hybridized and low emission solutions, setting an example for greener upgrades and ensuring success for customers.
  • Health, Safety and Continuous Improvement: Specialise in understanding the risks associated with new power products. Ensure compliance with Aggreko HSE policies and procedures. Provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and integration processes.
  • Technical Drawings: Interpret, modify, and create layout, arrangement, and technical drawings using CAD and sketch tools. Analyse technical drawings to establish parameters for safe and efficient solutions.
  • Technical Support and Customer Excellence: Elevate the business’s customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries, contributing to the development of documented guidance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, as well as optimising performance during the new product introduction and infancy care period. Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of solutions, with a specific emphasis on performing failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for new and existing products.
  • Troubleshoot and repair OFA compressed air systems and related machinery.
  • Install OFA compressed air systems and related machinery.
  • Subject Matter Expertise and Knowledge Transfer: Build personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products and aspire to become a subject matter expert. Guide and influence local technical teams, transferring knowledge and building capabilities. Support the Learning team with design and delivery of training solutions.

  • In-depth understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration. Possesses basic project management skills.
  • Minimum 5-7 years product technical hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience, coupled with a familiarity with industry regulations and standards
  • Flexibility to travel internationally as required by the role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Growth mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Should have very good analytical skills
  • Should possess a good knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
  • Understanding of AC and DC power, 3 phase system, components
  • University degree or above, science and engineering background (prefer one of below: Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and/or power, Measurement and control technology and instruments)
  • Proven experience on compressed air, rotating and air drier equipment
  • Robust technical proficiency with an exceptional mastery, specifically concentrated on emerging products. Familiarity with emerging trends in the industry
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
