The Product Manager is accountable for planning and executing the product line throughout its lifecycle, guiding projects through the Stage Gate process, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and aligning outcomes with RWC’s strategic objectives. This role works closely with engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and finance to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute product and category strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead assigned projects through the Stage Gate process from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Manage new product development, product changes, and discontinuations.
- Define and maintain product data within SAP.
- Provide direction for marketing collateral, pricing, and launch materials.
- Act as cross‑functional leader for projects, ensuring milestone completion and quality.
- Support field visits and customer interactions to gather Voice of Customer (VOC).
- Lead multiple projects and solve complex issues.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, with an MBA viewed favorably, and brings at least three years of product management experience in a fast‑paced, high‑SKU setting, preferably within the plumbing, construction materials, or building industry. They must demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and influencing abilities, coupled with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required, along with familiarity with SAP, sales reporting platforms such as Tableau or Phocas, and the Stage Gate methodology for project management.
The position involves 30‑35 % travel for customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and trips to other RWC facilities, while the primary work setting is an office environment. The role demands the ability to sit and stand for extended periods and to perform duties safely, leveraging good vision, hearing, speech, and motor skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
