Review and approval of detailed design submitted by Contractors and ensure compliance with Standards and all the company best practices.
Perform Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and basic process design for power plants, centralized utility facilities, water systems, mechanical systems (e.g., piping, pressure vessels, rotating equipment), and HVAC systems for data centers and process plants.
Conduct engineering activities during conceptual engineering and project development including but not limited to pre-feasibility/ feasibility studies, technical due diligence, cost estimation, site survey, technical proposal to customer, project / EPC scoping strategy, vendor selection and review, determine LCOE, budgetary quotation review and clarifications, and all related technical support and solutions etc.
Perform thermal and hydraulic calculations for process and mechanical systems, including heat exchangers, piping networks, pumps, compressors, cooling towers, absorption chillers, and chilled water systems to ensure optimal design and performance.
Lead and continuously improve internal engineering best practices and procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables for project support.
Develop key engineering deliverables including P&IDs, heat and mass balance, process flow diagrams, operating/control philosophies, overall supply schemes, layouts, equipment specifications, LCOE, etc.
Ensure all activities carried out are in full compliance with all regulatory and authority requirements.
Where applicable, provide training and guidance to other team members.
Design and specify mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, cooling towers, absorption chillers, and chilled water systems for large-scale facilities including data centers, industrial process plants, power plants, centralized utility facilities, water systems, and mechanical systems (e.g., piping, pressure vessels, rotating equipment).
Ensure engineering support is provided in a timely manner to all stakeholders through resource planning, close collaboration with disciplined engineers and team members, contractor management, etc.
Participate in project execution phases including development of Scope of Work, Design Memoranda, Minimum Functional Specifications, technical tender evaluations, design clarifications, and resolution of site-related issues during installation, testing, and commissioning.
Evaluate emerging technologies and innovative engineering solutions for potential application.
Liaise and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
Establish system and documentation for company engineering standards & specification, ITP, approved vendor/manufacturer list, material specifications, discipline’s schedule of rates and cost estimate template, engineering checklists etc.
Oversee and coordinate process design and inter-discipline reviews with a focus on safety, quality, performance, reliability, and operational flexibility, while optimizing project and lifecycle costs.
Participate in HAZOP, QRA, EIA studies.

Experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) and Utilities projects engineering is required.
Experience in project development and execution is preferred.
Proficient in process simulation and mechanical design tools; hands-on experience in Thermoflow, Flowmaster, AFT software preferred; familiarity with mechanical design codes (ASME, API, ISO) and HVAC standards essential.
Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
Proficiency in multiple energy resource simulation and optimization tools is advantageous.
