- Skilled in utilizin g the DLOG system on machines to accurately record work stoppage codes.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods is necessary. Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs is required
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating the pre-setter, executing set-ups, and managing load/unload tasks efficiently.
- Solid understanding of blueprints and tolerances, including advanced print reading skills covering geometric tolerances, finish specifications, and exact positioning.
- Must possess extensive technical knowledge in machining processes.
- The ability to work safely while wearing protective equipment is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in accurately inspecting tools, determining which require replacement, assembling tools, and conducting precise measurements.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Basic math proficiency is essential.
- Experience in machining is preferred. S tr ong motor skills are important. Must read and write clearly and legibly.
