Registered Project Surveyor
Registration(s): Texas Licensed Surveyor required
Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Huitt-Zollars in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Currently, Huitt-Zollars does not sponsor H1-B or any other work visa petitions.

Education: Associates degree
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Trimble Business Center, Autodesk Civil 3D, Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.) and other similar software used in surveying
- RPLS Licensure in Texas with 5+ years’ experience or ability to obtain Licensure
- Associate's degree
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, type/key-in data
- Ability to operate Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble GPS equipment, Trimble data collectors, and digital levels, and other related equipment
- The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Working knowledge of surveying
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage survey crews performing topo, boundary and construction staking
- Understands and follows HZ QMS and Quality initiatives. Ensures quality control measures are being adhered to on projects and daily operations.
- Competent, knowledgeable, service leader in the market(s) they service.
- Critical Thinking: Analyzing problems and solutions by evaluating the quality of the information available from different sources and avoiding decision-making bias.
- Valid Driver’s License
- May drive survey vehicle
- Highly motivated
- Knowledge of Trimble field equipment and data collector software
