Perform calculations to analyze and design electrical system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
Participate in value engineering, safety in design workshops and basic cost estimating to support engineering projects.
Contribute to the development of electrical systems, through sketches, models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
Prepare electrical engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans and schedules.
Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
Perform electrical engineering design which including development of engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support electrical engineering projects.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of electrical systems and materials and the development of electrical specifications.
Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks.

Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Recognize when technical problems are developing and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Minium of 5 years well-rounded experience in the Water and Waste Water industry.
Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field along with CPEng (or ability to obtain).
Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes
Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
