Senior Sustainability Consultant

Description

• Input of the sustainability strategy at each RIBA Stage to ensure that the principal set are being delivered.
• Developing the energy strategy from the inception stages of the project and overseeing energy calculations services all the way through to completion.
• Contribute to business development through maintaining excellent client relationships
• Assisting in the development of the business
• Work alongside project architects to agree thermal requirements and glazing strategies.
• Oversee the production of Sustainability / Energy Calculations
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of emerging technologies through continued personal development.
• Involvement in establishing the Energy and Sustainability requirements.

Requirements

Experience Required

• A strong academic background in environmental, built environment or construction.
• The ability to deliver projects in a timely manner
• The role will require travelling as and when required for attendance at offsite meetings or site visits.
• High degree of confidence in assessing thermal modelling and dynamic studies, knowledge of BREEAM, SAP, Part O, TM59, SBEM.
