Prepare and present clear, data-driven technical reports and visualizations to clients and stakeholders.
Apply advanced modeling and simulation using tools such as Synchro, SIDRA, VISSIM, and VISSUM to analyze traffic operations and optimize mobility strategies.
Contribute to and lead Roadway Safety Audits (RSAs), crash analysis, and the development of safety countermeasures aligned with Vision Zero and NCDOT’s statewide safety goals.
Develop recommendations for traffic operational improvements, including intersection control evaluations, signal operations, access management, and congestion mitigation strategies.
Lead and support development of traffic operations analyses, corridor studies, TIP studies, and statewide safety programs.
Work closely with NCDOT and other public agencies on statewide operations initiatives, planning and engineering efforts, and complex corridor analyses.
Mentor junior staff in traffic operations, modeling, and safety analysis, fostering technical growth and collaborative delivery.
Serve as Project Manager on traffic operations and safety projects, overseeing schedules, budgets, deliverables, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate traffic operations with broader transportation planning, safety, and multimodal design goals.

Strong communication and technical writing skills, with ability to convey complex traffic findings to diverse audiences.
Strong proficiency with Synchro required; familiarity with VISSIM and TransModeler a plus.
Proven experience working with NCDOT on statewide operational or safety projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
