Provide counsel on employee welfare benefit plans, including compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and other applicable regulations.
Collaborate with corporate, tax, and employment teams on benefits issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Assist with executive compensation and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, including compliance with Internal Revenue Code Sections 409A, 457, and 280G.
Draft and review plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and related compliance materials.
Advise employers and plan sponsors on the design, implementation, and compliance of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans (including 401(k), pension, and ESOP plans).
Support clients through IRS and DOL audits, correction programs, and filings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong client service orientation.
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Pennsylvania (or ability to waive in).
Strong understanding of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and related federal regulations.
3-7 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation law, preferably within a law firm or consulting environment.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
