In this position the supervisor will identify, investigate, and resolve gas‑leak issues, partner with customers and managers to ensure satisfaction, and lead a crew by assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance. Additional duties include requisitioning personnel and equipment, interpreting safety regulations, performing vehicle maintenance, and preparing operational reports.
The Supervisor, Gas Leak Survey reports to the Operations or Project Manager and serves as a key liaison with customers, management, and utility personnel. This role demands extensive natural‑gas knowledge, excellent time‑management, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and have a minimum of two years’ project‑management or supervisory experience. Upon hire they must complete Pipeline Operator Qualification training; a bachelor’s degree and prior natural‑gas utility supervision are preferred. Required skills include multitasking, leadership, time management, industry‑standard knowledge, and effective communication with both teams and customers.
