As a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor in the Complex Infrastructure, Commercial and Procurement team, you will manage post‑contract administration of NEC4 contracts, assess contractual changes and payments, and ensure projects stay within governance while applying best practices. You will also prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports throughout the project lifecycle, and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
The role requires extensive experience in civil infrastructure, particularly highways and active travel, and a solid background with NEC4 contracts—NEC4 Project Manager accreditation is preferred. You should have a good understanding of procurement documentation for ITT preparation, experience mentoring junior staff, a relevant degree, and professional membership such as MRICS or progress towards chartership.
Join the Project & Programme Services team at AtkinsRéalis, where you will work on prestigious global projects within a collaborative environment that values equal contribution and excellence. The culture emphasizes flexible and remote working, offering options such as reduced weeks, additional leave, and reasonable adjustments to support personal ambitions.
Beyond delivering high‑quality client work, you will have opportunities to contribute to people leadership, business development, and technical leadership across the business, including line management, supporting bids, and sharing best practices. The company encourages employees to shape culture and participate in initiatives that improve ways of working.
AtkinsRéalis offers competitive salaries, a flexible holiday allowance, hybrid working, and a wide range of health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle benefits, together with extensive training and professional development. Security clearance may be required for this role, and the organization is committed to an inclusive, equal‑opportunity workplace with family‑friendly policies and employee resource groups.
