- Closes out completed punch list items.
- Execute and assist with coordination of Owner Training.
- Works with PM to plan, schedule, and coordinate all start-up and commissioning processes of assigned projects.
- Completes startup documentation to be included in turnover packages.
- Assist in communication of Commissioning issues to SPC’s team.
- Can personally show the crew members the quality expected of SPC Mechanical.
- When required to do so, provides technical assistance for the best application for a particular installation.
- Assist Commissioning Agent while they are onsite with any needs or questions they may have.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or system operation and provide solutions.
- Keeps a daily record.
- Activate and document starting conditions of equipment.
- Assist in pre-testing of controls and DDC point-to-point and logic sequencing.
- Assist in piping system flushing and complete documentation for the flushing activities.
- Ensures that the start-up crew is conducting themselves in a professional manner.
- Adjust equipment setting such that it will operate by design drawings and specifications.
- Assigns punch list items to appropriate field superintendent.
- Verify that equipment is ready to be started by vendor.
- Displays a courteous and professional manner to customers and their representatives.
- Keeps files in a concise orderly manner.
- Complete required Commissioning documentation.
- Procure material as needed to complete tasks within contract scope such as:
- Documents all job-related occurrences.
- Participates in Autodesk Build QA/QC punch list.
