As a Presales Engineer you will own end‑to‑end presales activities for fire and security opportunities across India, covering verticals such as infrastructure, industries, fit‑outs and key accounts. You will manage techno‑commercial aspects of projects involving ELV systems like fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address, parking management, structured cabling and network infrastructure, and you will participate in the HOTO process to obtain D&E and OPS approval for bookings.
Your daily tasks will include reviewing project inputs, initiating kick‑off calls, preparing designs and BOQs, identifying risks, engaging with OEMs and subcontractors, analyzing proposals, creating optimized costing sheets and compliance statements, conducting self‑QC and second‑level QC, updating SFDC, completing timesheets and training, negotiating pricing, participating in cadence calls and aligning work with organizational KPIs such as quality, on‑time delivery, win rate and productivity.
The ideal candidate holds a BE in Electrical/Electronics/Communication and has at least six years of relevant experience in ELV systems, with strong knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, PAVA, intrusion detection, intercom, gate barriers, parking and structured cabling solutions. They must be skilled in presales estimation across multiple verticals, capable of complex costing, proficient in ACAD, Visio and Excel, and possess excellent written and verbal communication as well as a solid network of third‑party vendors in India.
