Land Surveyor – Project Manager

Tasks

-Manage client expectations, and ensure project deliverables, schedules, objectives, and budgets are met -Develop strong client relations, participate in business development activities including identifying & securing new clients, increase work with existing clients and representing the organization at industry events -Plan, initiate, execute, supervise and deliver a diverse range of survey projects -Manage project issues -Lead survey team on projects, communicate scope and scheduling information to team members -Liaise with both internal and external Project Managers and clients -Provide information as required by senior management; and, -Manage project billings, expenses, and receivables -Work with other Survey Project Managers to co-ordinate, schedule and review the activities of field and office staff -Prepare proposals and contracts -Maintain accurate records to document work performed -Provide guidance, training and mentoring to team members

What You Bring

-Diploma or Degree in Geomatics is an asset -Engineering survey experience including high precision control surveys (conventional/GNSS) and deformation monitoring is an asset -Minimum of 5 years as a British Columbia Land Surveyor in good standing with the Association of British Columbia Land Surveyors -Extensive legal survey experience, with particular strength in airspace and strata surveys, considered an asset -Valid BC driver’s license; -Proven ability to manage multiple survey projects of varying scope concurrently, while maintaining organization, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations -Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
