Director - Project Management

Description

As the Director of Project Management you’ll take the lead on complex projects, take on leadership responsibilities including mentoring the team and playing a key role in client relationships and business development strategy.

• Manage external consultants optimising best practice and delivery
• Leading and mentoring a high performing team of project managers
• Managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring seamless project delivery
• Overseeing the full project lifecycle including early feasibility through to project completion
• Overseeing the P/L for the business

Requirements

• Ability to manage large-scale projects across commercial, mixed use, education, aged-care or industrial
• Previous experience as a leader, exposure to mentoring other Project Managers
• Proven experience as a client-side Project Director or similar level, minimum of 15 + years of experience
• Strong pipeline of future work, strategic role to continue building on exisitng momentum
• Proven business development experience, generating new work and proactively meeting with new and exisitng clients
• Track record of working within a consultancy/development environment either New Zealand or Australia
