Project Contribution and Additional Responsibilities: Support compliance projects through research, data analysis, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Be prepared to assume additional responsibilities as required, commensurate with seniority or project scope.
Systematic Risk Assessment, Reviews, and Screening: Conduct comprehensive compliance risk assessments with an emphasis on the systematic evaluation of Business Integrity screening and public records research.
Research, Analysis, and Documentation: Perform in-depth online research, validate sources, and analyse risks using specialised compliance databases and open-source information. Maintain meticulous documentation of investigative processes, ensuring accurate and secure work space.
Policy Guidance, User Support: Offer primary support to business users regarding compliance tools and policy interpretation.
Third-Party Due Diligence and Escalation: Execute thorough due diligence for suppliers, partners, clients, and recipients of gifts, hospitality, donations, or sponsorships. Review sanctions lists and adverse media, summarise findings, and clearly differentiate between material risks and false positives. Proactively escalate red flags or suspected non-compliance in accordance with internal protocols, and provide pertinent feedback to stakeholders to enable informed business decisions.
Information Security and Confidentiality: Adhere rigorously to all information security standards, including data classification, confidentiality, and encryption requirements. Ensure compliance with both internal guidelines and legal obligations when handling sensitive information.
Training and Awareness Support: Contribute to the development and delivery of anti-bribery and anti-corruption training initiatives. Assist in monitoring red flags and promoting compliance awareness throughout the organisation.
Identification and Assessment of Third-Party Integrity Risks: Evaluate third-party risks such as bribery, corruption, sanctions, and money laundering by analysing areas of vulnerability and the effectiveness of controls. Complete both scheduled and ad hoc screenings to accurately and promptly identify potential risks.

Technical: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) and highly interested in leveraging AI tools for research and reporting.
Tools: Familiarity with specialist compliance risk databases (sanctions and adverse media screening) and TPDD methodologies. (Entry‑level proficiency expected; training provided.)
Research skills: excellent ability to conduct research and a keen investigative approach
Exposure to real‑world compliance risk management across diverse business units.
Education:Bachelor’s degree; law degree preferred or equivalent legal background.
Experience: up to two years in compliance, due diligence, legal, risk, or related fields. Prior KYC/KYB experience (e.g., client onboarding checks, customer/business verification) is advantageous.
Communication: demonstrates strong and assured communication abilities, both verbal and written (in business English), with effective stakeholder engagement skills.
