CDL A Driver - Home Daily

Description

You enjoy: Driving, managing logistics, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.

Your ideal job is: Operating large trucks and handling various types of cargo, including hazardous materials, with a focus on safety and efficiency, but also being home every evening and weekend.

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and ensure maintenance is up to date
• Maintain accurate DOT logs and documentation
• Use material handling equipment to load and deliver products safely
• Maintain required certifications and adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations
• Operate company-owned and leased trucks, including those requiring a CDL-A for loads over 12,000 lbs, as well as box trucks and flatbed trucks
• Load and unload trucks according to delivery schedules and ticket instructions to meet customer specifications

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with assistance
• Valid CDL-A license and Class A HAZMAT certification
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Proven track record of dependable attendance
• Safety and precision in handling and transporting materials
• Strong teamwork and collaboration within our shipping operations
