Work closely with emergency services and as well as provide road trauma first aid and small compartmental firefighting when required and safe to do so
Emergency make safe activities for road network restoration and to return the roads to normal operational condition
Work towards the safety of your team, road users and other related parties whilst engaging in conflict resolution and managing critical incidents
Support our Situational Incident Response Officers where applicable
Operate a range of vehicles to assist with all aspects of civil maintenance support (including 4WD utility, attenuator truck and tow trucks)
Ensure optimum safe lane availability and relay up-to-date information to the public, supervisors, and the wider response team

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
First responder to traffic incidents / breakdowns along major roads and highways including the AirportlinkM7, Clem7, Legacy Way, Inner City Bypass, Go Between Bridge and the Gateway and Logan Motorway
Level headed and calm when working under pressure with strong self-awareness
Motorcycle and MR drivers’ licence (zero court cancellations or suspensions)
Must hold full working rights in Australia
Be highly experienced in motor cycle operations (minimum 7 years)
Incident management experience (minimum 5 year)
Construction white card
Must be able to work both day and night shift
