Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop Equinix staff and vendors, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the access management and security training teams
Builds solid cross-functional relationships
Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects related to access experience and security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals
Utilizes measures, benchmarks, or scorecards to monitor, evaluate, and report on training program effectiveness, success, and ROI
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Local Operations, Security COE and compliance to ensure alignment on access management policies and security training initiatives
User Experience Optimization: Collaborate with EMEA Security COE teams to ensure that access processes are user-friendly and efficient, minimizing friction while maintaining security standards. Working closely with them on any Security Risk Assessment improvements. Partner with local operations and CSMs to improve customer experience within our Data Centers
Influences cross functional organizations to create/deliver effective training
Security Training Program Development: Create, implement, and oversee security training programs for employees and vendors, ensuring they understand best practices and compliance requirements related to access management and security SOPS and Security Awareness
Access Management Development: Implement AXI workshops to support Data Centers with a focus on improving the net promoter score (NPS) through project management and training where necessary
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in access management and security training, making recommendations for continuous improvement
Creates key measures (KPIs) and benchmarks to consistently provide high quality and relevant deliverables in a timely manner
Develops, implements, and monitors training programs across organizations
Performance Metrics and Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of access management and security training programs and provide regular reports to senior leadership through monthly reporting, using tools set up to capture training hours
Leads the execution of training strategies and adjusts as needed to achieve business results

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
Other relevant security or project management certifications
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in approach
Physical Security: Experience in training, developing and implementing security training programs for diverse audiences, including employees and security vendors
Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
Project Management Professional (PMP or Prince 2)
Access Management:Proven years of experience in access management, security operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of improving user experience and security protocols
Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince)
Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at different levels in the organization
Program Management: At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional projects, with demonstrated success in managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of access management and training programs
Certifications (Preferred)
Prince 2 or other Project related qualifications
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of access management systems, security protocols, and compliance requirements
