- Aid teams in designing, coding, integrating, testing, and deploying custom GIS features, scripts, tools, and web applications to meet client needs.
- Keep geospatial documentation, SOPs, best practices, and user guides current and accurate.
- Pursue continuous professional development and stay informed about the latest GIS advancements.
- Conduct GIS mapping, analysis, data management, geoprocessing, and data visualization tasks.
- Introduce innovative methods and spatial solutions leveraging GIS capabilities.
- Assist in the design and development of the geospatial database.
- Provide GIS technical guidance to junior GIS staff.
- Perform data manipulation, geospatial processing, and data cleansing, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Assemble geographic datasets into an enterprise geodatabase.
- Deliver GIS support across all WSP business sectors as needed.
- Help create efficient workflows to offer industry-leading, cost-effective services to our clients.
- Identifying innovative solutions to problems and driving the development of the solutions
- Prepare and coordinate work for GIS personnel based in the Middle East and abroad for both internal and external clients.
- Develop and uphold quality assurance on datasets and deliverables.
- Support the technical growth of the GIS team by sharing ideas and innovations.

- Good Knowledge of open-source GIS such as QGIS, OpenLayers, GeoServer, Leaflet, Mapbox, PostGIS & Google Map API
- Good experience in configuring and developing cross-platform web applications using Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder, Operation Dashboard, and Story Map, Powe BI dashboard, Tableau visualizations etc
- Experience in creating support documentation relating to best practices, SOP, and user guides.
- Geospatial data processing and analysis with Python using ArcPy or open-source libraries.
- Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS Desktop, Geodatabases, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS etc
- Experience working with almost all types vector and raster datasets
- Understanding of relational databases and geodatabase design and development
- Experience in GIS domain for 6+ years. Consulting experience would be added advantage
- Core principles of GIS and data management.
- Experience in setting up mobile data collection using Collector for ArcGIS, Field Maps, Survey123
- Understanding of feature stored in map and service layer in ArcGIS Online/Portal along with User/Group permission setup and configuration
- Advanced level of proficiency and experience in ESRI-based products and open-source products.
