Perform field data collection utilizing laptop computers, tablet devices, GPS units, and other electronic devices to collect data for input into database software as necessary.

With the assistance of Distribution Supervisors and Managers, administer company policies, salary administration, training, safety (both company and client specific), employee development, and performance evaluations for the employees in the Distribution EMC Design team.

Experience utilizing industry standard pole modeling and loading tools (SPIDAcalc, PoleForeman, O-calc)
Experience with a wide variety of distribution project types such as reconductoring, relocations, circuit extensions, load transfers, voltage conversions, equipment retrofits, SCADA equipment installations, 3rd party pole attachment projects, fiber design, construction coordination, post construction inspection, etc.
Experience managing projects and leading a team through successful projects.
Demonstrated leadership and technical capability to perform job responsibilities.
1-2 years of utility distribution design experience with a utility or consulting engineering firm with demonstrated project capability.
Track record of training and mentoring less experienced staff.
Quickly grasp and master new software programs including work management systems, design tools, etc.
Experience handling client relations and communications with other agencies in connection with project design responsibilities.
Experience working in the field and office.
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline from an accredited college or university, OR Associate Degree in an Engineering or Technology related field, OR a sufficient combination of experience and education (at the discretion of the hiring team).
