Daily Operations – You are responsible for apartment turnovers and troubleshooting/repairs of most major and all minor mechanical systems. You will also help with scheduling outside vendors, negotiating contracts, tracking budgets and invoices, and performing administrative support duties for all maintenance related activities.
Administration - You will support the Maintenance Manager with budgets, contracts, scheduling, record keeping, and appraisals for minor and major projects.

Leadership – As a lead, you enjoy mentoring others and training new team members. You lead by example, setting the standard for the team.
Certifications - Minimum three certificates from related institutions reflecting completion of maintenance related courses, such as: BOMA, IREM and/or vocational programs.
Leadership - Minimum of one year of supervisory experience. You must be comfortable coaching and training the maintenance team, working with vendors, and resolving problems.
Safety - You are knowledge about maintenance safety, contribute to preventative maintenance programs and train the team on best safety practices.
Communication Skills - Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace including, but not limited to, English.
Technical Skills - You have mastered the basics of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repairs, and carpentry. Must be able to use Yardi and manage work orders through technical systems.
Physical Demands - Requires standing, climbing, balancing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, lifting, and visual acuity. Some work tasks are performed outdoors.
Industry Experience - Minimum of three years of apartment maintenance.
Availability - You must be available for on-call services on a rotation basis.
