Extract engineering information from CAD drawings and prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Complete a variety of assignments, including drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
Interface frequently with other engineering disciplines and departments.
Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Act in an advisory capacity to senior management on engineering-related matters.
Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers working on the same project.
Provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
Perform complex and significant engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.

Versatile and enthusiastic, with the ability to work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) with 12+ years of related work experience.
Experience with NYSDOT, PANYNJ, and NYCDOT is a plus.
Exceptional communication, analytical, and management skills.
