The Production Operator role is responsible for operating shop floor machines to meet safety, quality, and production goals. Duties include adjusting machine settings, logging production data, performing daily 6‑S tasks, and participating in continuous‑improvement initiatives while cross‑training across multiple shop areas.
- Operate machinery safely to achieve production targets
- Adjust and maintain machine settings for quality output
- Input quality and production data into computer systems
- Log maintenance tickets and perform LOTO procedures
- Cross‑train in shop areas such as extrude, wrap, autoclave, and shipping
- Operate forklift and crane as trained
- Submit continuous‑improvement ideas
- Perform daily 6‑S housekeeping tasks
- Sign up for overtime shifts as needed
- Account for all tools and equipment at shift start and end
- Participate actively in performance dialogues
- Manage time efficiently to meet assignment deadlines

- Lift 25–30 lb frequently and stand/walk on concrete up to 12 hrs
