Oversee Aurora branch operations, lead project delivery, drive business development, manage staff.
Maintain clients by establishing a working relationship with key decision makers and influencers based on Fehr Graham’s Core Values.
Maintain client confidentiality for all project work.
Prepare client contracts, statements of qualifications, fee proposals and contracts.
Lead projects using resources to accurately invoice clients within budget.
Handle day-to-day branch operations, including overseeing personnel in Aurora.
Attend meetings and community and industry events.
Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of market, client, and technology trends and advancement.
Prepare and present formal client presentations.
Effectively manage multidisciplined teams to serve the diverse needs of our clients.
Turn prospects into clients by building relationships and trust.
Recruit, develop, coach and mentor staff.
Follow/research industry trends and communicate back to the team.
Effectively communicate ideas and technical concepts to coworkers and with clients on sensitive and complex matters.
Ensure quality control for projects and clients.
Develop relationships with other managers, senior leadership and marketing to define market and client opportunities and strategies for business development.

Proven track record of successfully managing projects and people.
Track record of working with and serving local Chicagoland clients.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related field is preferred.
Understand client needs and apply innovative thinking to solve problems and capture opportunities.
Eight years or more of experience in staff supervision, client relations, and/or business development and project management.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to engineering projects.

Compensation: $130,000 - $200,000 / year
