Lead Strategy

Description

The Chairman Office of the Adani Group supports the Promotors on key aspects related to strategy and new business identification/build, governance, risk management and capital allocation, strategic partner relationship management & special initiatives across group companies.

• Translate Chairman’s Vision and strategic agenda into an aligned action plan by working with senior BU stakeholders
• Help set & refine strategic agenda for the BU
• Team building activities within Chairman’s office and strengthening systems, processes & collaboration
• Identify and implement transformative initiatives in the BU
• Ensure rigorous governance – regular review cadence, detailed insights
• Help control capital allocations: Review proposed spend elements and ensure adequate evaluation and rigor

Requirements

Experience: 7+ years,

Educational Qualification: Engineering degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) & MBA from a Tier 1 institution

Background of Corporate Strategy/Planning (Incl. Financial Planning)/Exposure to Executive office setup/Strategic Consulting

• Operate and thrive in fast paced and high performing environment
• High comfort with large data sets & ability to synthesize
• Able to work on multiple streams at a given time
• Financial acumen - Understanding of financial statements, financial metrics and their application in business contexts
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong relationship building skills
• Role requires high appetite for analytics and comfort with handling of complex data sets; with a keen eye for rigor checking and triangulation
• Highly self-motivated and able to operate autonomously
• Role requires quick turnaround and, on the feet, independent thinking
• Digital-first mindset
• Should be able to cut through large volumes of data to identify the key issues/ challenges with a BU
• Business Acumen with strong detail orientation
