HVAC Department Manager

This is an opportunity to manage and mentor a team of 5–6 talented HVAC engineers with one of the region’s most respected MEP firms.

You’ll lead the HVAC department, reporting directly to a senior partner, shaping design concepts, providing technical oversight, and driving project excellence across diverse sectors, including: Corporate, Academic, Science & Technology, Industrial, Mission Critical, Healthcare, Civic, Entertainment & Historic Preservation and Mixed-Use

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver outstanding HVAC design solutions
• Oversee system design, calculations, and specifications for complex building systems
• Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Engage directly with clients and project teams from concept through delivery

Experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to step into a leadership role?

• PE License (or equivalent technical training)
• Strong understanding of hydronic systems, controls, and building codes
• Proven leadership and project management skills
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience in MEP consulting
