- Design and implement data conversion procedures and perform software and database quality control.
- Work independently to maintain database dictionaries, ensure database performance and resolve problems.
- Manage the design and development of GIS databases and related master files and ensure system capacity for current and future requirements.
- Assist with the design and development of GIS applications and multi-layered maps.
- Perform project planning, requirements analysis, database design, development and administration.
- Coordinate with GIS users to ensure implementation and monitoring of GIS databases.
- Work closely with the GIS user community to determine specific application requirements and specifications.

- 1+ years of experience performing such activities for law enforcement, immigration, and/or border security applications.
- Excellent organization skills and time management
- BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science or other related field w/GIS experience.
- Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance or DHS suitability (Background Investigation).
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Potential travel up to 15-20% of the time
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- 2+ years of experience performing GIS and related development.
- Strong team skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
