Dealing with a range of stakeholders and influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting.
Facilitate cross-scheme, site level coordination of traffic licence management activities among key internal and external stakeholders (Contractor, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, TII, An Garda Siochana etc).
Facilitate the smooth processing and acceptance of traffic licences using the RMO MRL System in the line with the Scope of Services of the Contract.
Delivery of work under time pressure and with conflicting priorities.
Work closely with the D&B Contractor to manage and track licence applications, ensuring wider agreements and consents are in place prior to traffic licences being implemented on site.
Providing administrative support and organisation to senior leaders.
Provide assurances to key stakeholders that traffic licence applications are associated with approved works.
Act as the point of contact for all matters relating to traffic licences across the schemes at construction stage.
Coordinate traffic licences associated with Design and Build Contractor’s site activities during project construction stage.

Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies;
Ability to work in a dynamic environment both on their own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues;
Experience in traffic management with experience carrying out temporary traffic management activities on construction projects in a live urban environment on high value road projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity.
Working knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
Ability to step back from the detail and take a holistic overview;
Ability to manage client expectations and deliver within agreed parameters;
Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector.
Ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and deliver consistent service;
Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service delivery;
Familiarity with the Road Management Office systems for processing Traffic Permits
High level of attention to detail;
Working within fast paced and challenging environments.
