

Global EPC specialist delivering AC substation design‑to‑construction for power, transport, utilities and data sectors
You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities from project start to the As‑Built stage, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, Linxon standards, QA/QC, HSSE and integrity requirements. The position includes managing design package submissions, monitoring engineering cost, risk and change management, and directing both local and remote engineering disciplines.
Key duties involve leading design review and hazard review meetings, handling technical discussions with customers and suppliers, responding to site queries, and managing design changes according to contract procedures. You will also support tender preparation by reviewing RFQs, validating supplier offers, and estimating resource budgets, as well as identifying technical claims for change‑order processes.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses extensive experience in HV substation engineering for utilities, with proven expertise in substation layout, primary design, grounding, lightning, steel design, transformers, and HV/MV switchgear systems. Strong skills in MS Office, MicroStation and AutoCAD are required, while installation and commissioning experience is an advantage.
The role demands a results‑oriented team player with excellent communication abilities, comfortable working in a multicultural environment and able to travel up to 25 % of the time, both domestically and internationally, balancing office and construction‑site work.
