- Participate in staging raw materials, loading raw materials into equipment, and unloading intermediates and products from dryers.
- Perform chemical synthesis on a multi-kilo scale and execute via batch record.
- Read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively in a group setting.
- Set up, operate, and clean all plant equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, filter dryers, shelf dryers, and milling equipment.
- Maintain documentation standards to meet GMP requirements, including recording charges/transfers, acknowledging actions as they are performed, and documenting key observations related to specific operations.
- Collaborate with Chemical Engineers to produce R&D Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).

- Proficiency in blending, GMP, GLP, and pharmaceutical quality standards.
- Manual compounding experience.
- Willingness to handle chemicals with engineering and safety controls in place.
- Ability to read batch records and lift up to 50 pounds.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math proficiency.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Experience with batch records, transfers, API, R&D, Microsoft Word, reactors, centrifuges, chromatography, and wet chemistry.
- Experience in a production facility (chemical, pharmaceutical, or food) preferred.
- Experience working with reactors.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or engineering preferred.
