The role requires meeting a set amount of production each day. Employees will rotate rack‑loading positions on the rumble machine at Plants 3 and 4. Each rack must be inspected for quality, ensuring there are no broken bricks or boards and that voids are correctly positioned.
Employees must be willing to cross‑train and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to assist in other departments when needed is essential, as is keeping the work area clean, particularly the platform area which must be cleaned daily. Caution around moving machinery is required.
The position involves repetitive motions and requires the ability to lift 20 lb frequently, as well as to twist, bend, stoop, and pick up bricks from floor level. Required personal protective equipment includes a hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, and steel‑toe shoes.
