Leasing Agent (Bilingual Required)

Description

The Leasing Agent’s daily duties include greeting, touring, and closing on qualified prospects, processing income, rental, and employment information to verify qualifications, performing outreach and online marketing, and engaging in resident events. Additional responsibilities involve managing fair‑housing, regulatory, and compliance services, walking the property, and maintaining cleanliness in the office and model apartments.

• Greet and tour prospective residents, presenting the community and closing leases.
• Verify applicant income, rental history, and employment to meet qualification standards.
• Conduct outreach and online marketing to attract new residents.
• Participate in resident events and maintain fair‑housing and compliance duties.
• Keep the office, model apartments, and property clean and orderly.

Requirements

Ideal candidates have at least one year of leasing experience in a multifamily setting or two years of customer‑service experience, are detail‑oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must be able to listen to goals, think creatively, and be bilingual; a valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation are required, and knowledge of ResMan is a plus.

Work hours are Monday‑Friday 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with occasional weekend shifts; schedules may change based on seasonal needs and resident activities. Physical demands include climbing up to four flights of stairs, walking several acres, lifting up to 25 lb, and standing or sitting for extended periods.

• Possess at least 1 year leasing experience in multifamily or 2 years customer‑service experience.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Be bilingual, hold a valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to climb up to four flights of stairs, walk several acres, lift up to 25 lb, and stand or sit for long periods.
