Tasks
-Provide technical expertise and guidance leading small to medium scale projects through effective project management, team leadership, coordination, and participation in the delivery of projects thus ensuring a high level of service -Write reports related to field work and building science research. -Review of construction phase submittals and shop drawings. -Work with Entuitive's BIM team to develop drawings and details for contract documents and/or sketches for design assist -Building envelope condition assessments and forensic investigations, including quantity takeoffs, budget estimates, and report writing -Work in all aspects of the building envelope service which includes repair and restoration projects for existing buildings and design of the envelope for new construction projects. -Assist with research of new products and systems. -Write and/or review specifications for existing and new building projects -Implement and adhere to Entuitive's quality assurance programs to ensure that services meet Entuitive's standards and our client's expectations. -Computer aided analysis of building envelope details and performance (training will be provided if needed).

Entuitive is looking for an Intermediate Building Envelope Specialist, based in our Vancouver office that will focus on both new construction and existing buildings projects. We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals that get to deliver complex projects on a regular basis. All positions require in-office presence 3 days a week. Building strong relationships and collaborating internally is important to us! Collaborate virtually for the remainder of the week. -Bachelor's degree in building science, engineering, or architecture; or equivalent training -Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision when needed but also enjoy collaboration and working as a team -Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and Bluebeam (or another PDF mark-up tool) -Minimum 3 days a week in office. Building strong relationships and collaborating internally is important to us! -Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deliverables on an ongoing basis. -Must be comfortable and willing to work at heights, including climbing ladders, accessing sloped roods, and working on boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stages, and scaffolding. -Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle and maintain throughout employment -RRSP matching up to 5%. -Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to manage complex situations with multiple stakeholders. -Access to a passport and desire to travel for work is an asset. -3-7 years' work experience in building envelope consulting -Registration as a P.Eng. or P.L.Eng. or eligibility for registration is considered an asset -Strong time management and organizational skills -Strong attention to detail and always willing to learn and improve

The range for this position is between $75,000 to $95,000 annually (+ eligibility to participate in our profit sharing program) and is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the British Columbia Pay Transparency Law.
