Participates in scoping design deliverables and trade detailing requirements.
Liaises with estimating to establish and manage staffing resources and budgets for new pursuits and projects.
Oversees the coordination and management of trade detailing and design deliverables across multiple projects.
Leads the setup, management, and best practices of digital workflows.
Participates in project interviews and proposal writing in respect to virtual design construction VDC and other integrated technologies.
During the pursuit stage, works with the project team to review and recommend scopes that VDC tools and processes can be incorporated into the project and allocates VDC resources accordingly.
Manages integrated construction resource allocation at the district level and leads department process improvement activities.
Participates in the pursuit and proposal of a project including the narrative and presentation material development and delivery.
Ensures that virtual models from plans, specifications, and elevations are built and reviewed.
Liaises between design teams and construction teams.
Communicates best practices across projects and districts and facilitates sharing.
Drafts VDC and ICT contract language and/or ensures it is incorporated into the design or subcontract agreement. Develops BIM (Building Information Model) execution plan

Minimum of 8 years of construction-related industry experience including 5 to 6 years of virtual Design and Construction related experience.
Bachelors' degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).
Advanced ability to read and understand 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications and translate 2D drawings and specifications into a complete 3D/4DBuilding Information Model.
Advanced ability to oversee and ensure the quality of virtual construction models from design and trade partners.
Expert understanding of construction sequences.
Understanding of trade detailing and design workflows.
Advanced understanding of and proven experience implementing construction technology.
Advanced understanding and training in 3D modeling software.
Ability to develop model management procedures.
Advanced knowledge of the building construction process and the various building components involved at each stage of construction.
Experience with 4D scheduling software and planning tools.
