Contribute to proposal and bid development to support business development activities, including preparing proposal material as required
Undertake a range of duties in carrying out designs and studies for civil and dams engineering projects to provide highlevel technical service to internal and external clients Conduct site surveys, data gathering/analysis, field investigations and feasibility studies for proposed projects
Minimise and control risk by the commitment to the Stantec Quality, Health & Safety programmes and ensuring proactive use of our project management systems
Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality, Safety & Environment Systems and Project Quality Procedures
Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required
Produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical design will provide the appropriate solution
Development into a key member of the dams team, supporting colleagues in project related work.

Solid foundation of technical knowledge on standard processes and procedures in Dam Engineering and relevant standards
The ability to apply professional concepts and expand skills while performing various phases of engineering work related to water infrastructure, in particular dams and hydropower.
Proficient skills of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
Professional working experience, ideally with a focus on dam safety and/ or dam engineering.
3 years’ professional experience in a commercial consulting environment, preferably within the dams and hydro sector (after completion of graduate education)
Tertiary qualification in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent)
