The Construction Manager oversees the construction of homes in assigned communities, ensuring quality control, cost management, and adherence to schedules from project inception through move‑in.
Daily duties include managing job sites and trade partners, conducting twice‑daily home walks to monitor progress and profitability, supervising pre‑construction, pre‑drywall, and final presentation meetings, negotiating solutions with inspectors and trade partners, handling trade‑partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro, and maintaining site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with state and federal building codes.

Candidates should have 3‑5 years of residential construction management experience, a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred), strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and other construction‑management software; a valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and the ability to perform physical tasks on site are required.

- Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and other construction‑management software.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance coverage.
- Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to work >8 hours per day on construction sites and perform physical tasks (lifting >50 lb, climbing, etc.).
