The Assistant Design Manager role supports the integration of civil, structural, MEP, landscape and other design disciplines, ensuring projects meet client requirements, design standards, and program schedules. This position assists the Design Manager from concept through IFC stages and collaborates with BIM teams to resolve clashes and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs (civil, structural, MEP, landscape) for integrated delivery.
- Support the Design Manager throughout concept to IFC stages.
- Track and review design submissions to ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Manage client, authority, and stakeholder comments, ensuring timely resolution.
- Organize and document design coordination meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.
- Issue and track RFIs and design clarifications.
- Collaborate with BIM teams to resolve clashes across disciplines.
- Ensure design outputs meet regulatory standards and project objectives.
- Maintain design documentation, including drawings, registers, and correspondence on information management platforms.
