Enterprise Technology Manager

You will champion environment best practices across the organisation, reduce technical debt, and mentor a talented team of engineers.

• Technical Debt Reduction: Systematically identify and replace End-of-Life (EoL) and legacy systems to improve security posture and reduce operating costs.
• People & Vendor Management: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Infrastructure Engineers into a high-performing Enterprise Technology group. Manage key vendor relationships and control the infrastructure operational and capital budget.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain and exceed our aggressive uptime SLAs. Oversee incident response, disaster recovery planning (DRP), and business continuity (BCP) testing.
• Strategic Leadership & Architecture: Define and execute the multi-year infrastructure strategy and roadmap, focusing on public cloud migration (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud optimisation.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure the infrastructure adheres to strict security policies and regulatory compliance standards

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead our Enterprise technology operations & technical delivery team. This isn't just a people management role—it's a hands-on strategic position. You will own the full life cycle of our infrastructure platforms, driving our transition to a highly effective, self-reliant operational and technical delivery team while ensuring 99.99% reliability for our critical services.

• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
• MCSA / MCSE / CCNA (or equivalent) certification an advantage
• Experience in virtualisation (ESX \ VMware and Hyper-V)
• Deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure is essential), including networking, security services, and cost optimisation.
• Experience with storage, create/modify/delete LUN’s, fibre switch fabric knowledge.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, ITIL).
• Tertiary degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience essential
• Extensive experience working in large multi-site environments
• Experience with AWS infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks, particularly Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure (including networking), with at least 5 years in a leadership/management capacity reporting direct to GM level.
• Proven track record with systems support & detailed knowledge of the Microsoft family of applications (Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, O365, Azure etc.)
