The Role

Overview

Assemble HVAC comfort units on night shift, aligning parts per blueprints.

Tasks

-Visually inspect assembled products to ensure that all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly. You bring an attention to detail to identify any visible flaws or issues that could affect quality. -Maintain a clean and orderly workplace. Perform any and all other department duties as assigned by Supervisor. Sweeping and straightening of the workplace is required for a safe and productive atmosphere. -Communicate effectively with team and supervisors. You will need to coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and to troubleshoot any issues including any shortages or outages. -Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor. -Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment -Package units and parts with all necessary components including warranties and manuals. Choose correct packaging materials to protect the nature of the product. This may include boxes, bubble wrap, foam inserts, plastic bags, or protective sleeves.

What You Bring

-Read and write English -Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred -High school diploma or equivalent -Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units. -Must have good problem solving skills -Ability to read tape measure
